Rebecca & Eric’s Wedding – May 24th, 2014

What an amazing way to start off the new wedding season with Rebecca & Eric’s big day!

Mother Nature sure made up for her faulty weather during their engagement shoot with this gorgeous day! The morning started off at Rebecca’s house where the girls were laughing and just finishing up their hair and makeup. After the girls were given their beautiful bouquets and ‘survival kits’ for the day, I made my way over to Eric’s to snap some photos of the groomsmen getting ready. Once everyone was ready to go, we made the long drive (less than 1km) to the church for the ceremony. The room was greeted with lots of smiling faces as you could tell there was nothing but excitement in the air. With a tearful and heartwarming ceremony, Eric and Rebecca were finally announced as Mr. and Mrs. Noort! The day then carried into Marshville, ON where we snapped the wedding party photos around vintage barns and machinery. At some points, it was a game of hide-and-seek between us and the sun but the warmth and beauty of the day definitely helped keep everyone laughing. Once we felt we photographed as many candid/hilarious/traditional wedding party photos that we could in Marshville, we made our way back to Dunnville for the reception. It was filled with memorable speeches, an adorable first dance, and a very surprising father-daughter dance-turned-party!

From meeting this couple in March at their engagement session to celebrating their big day a couple weeks ago, I am so blessed to have gotten to know Rebecca and Eric Noort. They have a love like no other and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start off this wedding season!

Congratulations, you two! I definitely hope our paths cross again 🙂
